Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954) is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara has received a variety of awards including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also received two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was appointed as an Officer of Canada. She was also awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara was first noticed as an actress when she was part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also in her main cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara joined Candy in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). She won critical acclaim both for her writing abilities and acting and was honored with a Primetime Emmy Award, 1981, for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. O'Hara joined the Second City artistic advisory board in 2022. She was joined by Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert and Tina Fey.
